Sparking Meaningful Change: Meet our 2024 Nonprofit Partners

Moody’s Foundation is delighted to announce that it will be partnering with four new nonprofit organizations this year. In addition to existing partnerships, we will be partnering with World Wildlife Fund, Nest, Women’s World Banking Inc and Endangered Wildlife Trust to help us amplify our reach across emerging markets. Introducing our new partners

“We’re thrilled to partner with such incredible nonprofits that are making tangible differences in their communities across the globe. We look forward to introducing new and meaningful ways our employees can get involved while expanding our reach across emerging markets to help create more prosperous communities.”

David Platt
Chief Strategic Development Officer and President of the Moody’s Foundation

In 2023, we began a search for new nonprofit organizations aligned to our two strategic focus areas: empowering small businesses and supporting ecosystem restoration. Through our new partnerships, we will continue to invest in every relationship and drive impact where it matters most, helping create a more inclusive and prosperous future for our communities. Expanding our reach

We have also expanded our joint programs with WEConnect International and Village Capital, nonprofits that help underestimated entrepreneurs grow their small businesses and uplift their local communities.

Together with WEConnect, we will be continuing our joint program “Financing Your Growing Business” and rolling it out to 13 priority emerging markets. As part of this program, they will develop and incorporate sustainability topics into the annual bootcamp’s training modules. We will also continue working with Village Capital on their investment readiness program, “GreenTech 2024: The Future of Sustainability”, which targets entrepreneurs growing innovative sustainability-focused businesses within their communities. With our support, they will continue providing them with 1:1 training and technical support, as well as access to mentors and investors.

We’re equally proud of our longstanding partnerships with Asociación Conciencia, Fundación MarViva, Instituto Perene and TechnoServe Inc and look forward to continuing our impactful work in 2024!

Over the past five years,  Moody's Foundation has awarded more than $12.5 million to our strategic partners. Visit our partnerships page for more information about our 2024 partnerships. You can also learn more about our work by reading our latest partner stories.
